Good Specs, Bad luck on memory slot and Flash Memory
The supplied Lexar memory module lasted for only two pictures and then totally died - would not format or anything. I tried the USB adapter and memory module with my new computer and it locked up the computer. I had to purchase a new 2 GB Sony brand memory module for $50 and then the memory worked. Now the push to insert and push to extract function on the camera stopped working after about five usages. Now I have to use tweasers to pull out the memory module. Overall, I am very disgusted to have such bad luck from the very beginning. Now I have to live with a defective memory slot for the camera’s lifetime. I live in China and should have bought it here for local support. I think it is better to purchase the camera separately from the memory.
